WHAT THIS IS

A 94-page hyperlinked reading journal set in EB Garamond with wide margins — built to slow down with a book, not to score you for reading one. A reading log, 60 individual book pages, a to-be-read list, ten series trackers, and four undated year-in-books pages.

THE LOG AND THE BOOK PAGE ARE DIFFERENT THINGS

A log is a table: title, author, dates, rating, one line per book, good for a fast look back. A book page is different — two quotes with a page number each, and a reflection that gets most of the page. Cramming both into one card either crushes the log into something unusable or starves the page down to a row. Both ship here, separately, each labelled for what it does.

A QUOTE WITH A PAGE NUMBER

Every quote field sits beside a small “p.” box. A quote you cannot cite is a quote you will have to go back and find again — one line fixes that, permanently.

A SERIES IN ORDER

The series tracker numbers its slots instead of leaving them blank, so a book checked off out of sequence is meant to look wrong. Ten trackers, each independent, each starting its own count at book one.

NO SCORE, NO STREAK

Five plain boxes for a rating and nothing else gamified — no genre bingo, no reading-challenge percentage bar, no streak to keep. The to-be-read list has no due date column. The year-in-books page is undated on purpose, so the same four pages serve every year you own the file.
